FAYETTE COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Three Fayette County men are facing sexual abuse charges following a six months long investigation, according to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.
22-year-old Philip Zupke and 18-year-old Joel Zupke of Randalia, and 20-year-old James Hanson of Fayette are charged with second degree sexual abuse.
The sheriff's office said in 2005 and 2006 the 3 committed a sex act on females under the age of 12.
All are charged as adults, but the court system could refer them back to juvenile court for prosecution because they were juveniles at the time of the abuse.
If convicted, they each face up to 25 years in prison and would be required to register as a sex offender.
