HEAR FROM COACH SHYMANSKY
"Good fight by our group tonight. It was tough for them to rebound. We had little bit of a mental hangover from last night’s match. I really love what Cali Hoye gave for us out there as a spark. Statistically, she was really good. I thought the energy and positivity was important. Early, we were a little bit stale and then we started to take flight there. Jess Janota did a really nice job of working hard in the middle for us. Reghan Coyle became offensive like we're accustomed to seeing her. There were a lot of good things for our group. I like where we are at, but I also we know that we're at this position and we need to keep climbing. We haven't had any huge mistakes or slip ups yet this year, but it's only going to get tougher as we move forward. Now we go on the road for the next two weekends and this is where it's really going to test our resolve."
· Iowa is now 9-5 all-time against Northern Illinois.
· Janota hit a game-high .467.
