FROM KCRG-TV9's Meteorologist Kaj O'Mara
Our weather remains very quiet through the end of next week. Plan on highs primarily in the upper 60s over northeast Iowa today. Lower 70s will be common farther southwest.
More scattered clouds should form in the afternoon, though likely not as extensive this time around. The wind will remain light from the northwest at 5-15mph.
As Hurricane Irma makes landfall this weekend, our weather will stay dry and quiet. Each afternoon, we should go well into the 70s with comfortable lows at night around 50.
