SHERRILL, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Police have identified the man as Gary E. Koch, 63, of Dubuque. They say the death appears medically related and no foul play is suspected.
The Dubuque County Sheriff's Office was called at around 11:08 p.m. on September 4 to help a local family find a family member they couldn't reach.
Authorities went to the address and found no one at the residence.
After no one was found, they searched the area and the body of an adult male was found.
The male was dead in a wooded marsh near Riverside Road.
The Sherrill Fire Department responded to help in the recovery due to the terrain.
No foul play is suspected at this time.
