Linn Co. Sheriff Investigating Home Invasion

Prairieburg, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- On Saturday, August 26, 2017 the Linn County Sheriff’s Office received report of a home invasion/robbery that had occurred at 200 W. Main St in Prairieburg.

They found a female victim at the residence who reported that an unknown male forced his way into her home at gunpoint and demanded money. The suspect fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He is described as a white, male, approximately 5’6” tall, wearing a light neon green colored t-shirt, hat and sunglasses. He was possibly driving a white-colored 4-door sedan.
