CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Cedar Rapids Police are searching for the driver who led them on a short chase on the city's northeast side Tuesday night.
Police said about 8:50 p.m. an officer tried to stop a vehicle in the 700 block of A Avenue NE. The driver failed to stop and drove off, crashing at A Avenue NE and 7th Street NE, just east of UnityPoint St. Luke's Hospital.
The driver ran from the scene. There were no injuries.
Officers have not yet caught the suspect.
