There was no damage reported after a tornado was spotted in Benton County Wednesday evening. According to KCRG-TV 9 the first reports of a funnel cloud started coming in near Keystone around 5:20 p.m.
The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for the area about a half-hour later, citing a report from law enforcement that indicated the funnel had briefly touched down.
The warning was canceled at six o'clock and no damage was reported. Forecasters said that conditions were favorable along the U.S. Highway 30 corridor for weak funnels.
