Elite Casino Resorts to Temporarily Close Operations

We're in unprecedented times. The spread of COVID-19 has disrupted every aspect of our lives, and everything is changing quickly. Therefore, Elite Casino Resorts is instituting a temporary public closure beginning today at 5pm, Monday, March 16th, with an estimated reopening on March 31st.This impacts Riverside Casino & Golf Resort®, Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort®, and Rhythm City Casino Resort®. While there have not been any cases of coronavirus reported in association with our resorts we are electing to close in an abundance of caution and concern for the safety of all of our guests and employees.

We believe our staff is our greatest asset and will continue to pay our employees during the time of this closure. We will also maintain existing employees’ benefits, for individuals who are on our health plans and impacted by this temporary closure.

We have been actively monitoring the coronavirus situation on an hour-by-hour basis over the past several weeks. Our management team established a multi-phase reaction plan that increased the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing the high contact areas, made hand sanitizer available to customers and closely monitored recommendations from the WHO and CDC .Our goal is to take a measured, appropriate response as the situation progresses.

The impact to our employees, their families, our communities, and operations is serious and we have an obligation to support the necessary actions to flatten out the infection curve. We will continue to review the evolving situation in the upcoming weeks and will be ready to welcome back the guests who visit our resorts. They will be greeted by our most remarkable employees.

We encourage all of our customers and staff to continue to monitor the CDC recommendations. Customers may stay update to date by following our property websites and social media pages.
