Brad Stulberg, author of "Peak Performance," wrote a piece for Outdoor Mag that caught my eye: " The Two Keys to Forming Habits-and Making Them Stick ." We all want to make exercise or eating healthy a positive habit. But what is stopping us?
- We aren't hanging with the right people-If you're an addict, should you be hanging with other addicts? If you're trying to become your better self, should you be hanging with people who drag you down?
- We are too hard on ourselves-Not sure how I feel about this one, but I can understand that if you fail, you can set yourself up for multiple failures by going overboard on yourself
Check out the article, and Brad's book, as well.
