Iowa one of the Heaviest states

Iowa is the fourth heaviest state in America, in a new report.

The Iowa Department of Public Health says the obesity rate grew from 32 percent in 2016 to 36.4 percent in 2017.

The report shows obesity is a problem in almost every Iowa town and across all socioeconomic sectors.

The top five most obese states are (in order) West Virginia, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Iowa, and Alabama.
