A Cedar Rapids man was arrested Thursday morning for allegedly having inappropriate contact with a 12-year-old girl in October.
According to court documents, 34-year-old Kevin Brian Ellis allegedly touched the girl under her clothing at a home on Ashton Place N.E. on October 23.
A warrant for Ellis' arrest was issued on December 18 and deputies from the Linn County Sheriff's Office arrested him early Thursday morning.
Ellis had his initial court appearance Thursday morning. No other court dates have been set at this time.
Ellis is charged with one count of indecent contact with a child.
