The Marion Police Department says they have seen a spike in storage garage burglaries the past few months.
Data shows in 2018, burglaries were down in August and September, with only two reported each month compared to five reported in July.
In October, the police said five storage garage burglaries were reported.
That number more than doubled, with 11 reported in November.
Police want to remind residents to be sure your items are secured. They also say you should check on them frequently.
