The Iowa State Patrol says one person is dead after a crash early Wednesday morning.
The crash happened on Interstate 80 near mile marker 225 and the Exit Ramp at U Avenue.
Authorities say Rick Inman, 60 of Glendale, Wisconsin was driving a 2011 Nissan eastbound on Interstate 80.
He didn't stop at a stop sign at the end of the I-80 exit ramp which intersections with U Avenue.
By failing to stop, the vehicle went across U Avenue before leaving the roadway and vaulting over a creek before landing in the east ditch.
When the vehicle crashed into the ground, the Iowa State Patrol says it started on fire.
