A crash in Johnson County on Thursday night killed two people and hurt one person.
It happened on Highway 1 south of 210th St. Northeast near Solon around 8:30 p.m.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, one vehicle in the southbound lane crossed the center line and hit a second vehicle head on in the northbound lane.
Two people died.
Emergency crews airlifted a third person to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for injuries.
There's no word on that person's condition.
The identities of those involved in the crash have not yet been released.
