IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) -- Iowa City police arrested a 24-year-old woman in connection to a weekend shooting that injured two men, one of them being her brother.
Arielle N. Grier faces two attempted murder charges and a reckless use of a firearm charge.
Police say Grier and her brother got into a verbal argument with three guys in the area of the 300 block of East Court Street in Iowa City at 1:55 a.m. Saturday. Police say the men ran away, but surveillance video shows Grier and her brother chased after them. Police say she pulled a gun from her waistband and fired six shots. She struck one of the men she was in the argument with once and her brother twice.
Both of the victims are expected to survive.
Surveillance video shows Grier ran from the scene. Police arrested her at her home.
