A 12-year-old was killed when a lawnmower overturned in Fairbank Saturday afternoon, authorities said in a news release Sunday.
The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as Carson James McGrane of Fairbank.
According to authorities, McGrane was using a riding lawnmower and had stopped it on an incline, around 1:40 p.m. Saturday. The mower is thought to have rolled and killed the 12-year-old.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fairbank Police Department and Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office.
