Authorities say 54-year-old Jeffrey Scott died after a car vs. pedestrian accident last Thursday.
Authorities were called to 4 Barber Street in Central City at 11:02 p.m.
When emergency personnel arrived, they found Scott, a pedestrian/bicyclist, unresponsive.
Police say Scott was hit by 59-year-old Melinda Lawrence, who was driving a vehicle.
Linn County Deputies, Central Point Regional Ambulance Service, and the Central City Fire Department assisted at the scene.
The accident is under investigation by the Linn County Sheriff's Office and charges are pending.
