The Iowa City Police Department is investigating a report of an assault that possibly happened on the 700 block of E. Washington Street early Wednesday morning.
Authorities say the victim was reportedly grabbed and forced to the ground around 1:09 a.m. before getting free and running to safety.
The victim told police the suspect was a 19 to 25-year-old male with silver/blonde hair.
He was reportedly wearing a blue v-neck American Eagle shirt and khaki shorts. He was estimated to be around 150-160 pounds.
