BLACK HAWK COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Iowa State Patrol tells TV9 that a 17-year-old male has life-threatening injures after a crash in Black Hawk County.
The 17-year-old was driving eastbound on Highway 20 near the Jesup exit when he hit the right side of a trailer attached to a vehicle.
The vehicle had stopped to pick up a part of their lost load.
Emergency crews took the 17-year-old to Covenant Hospital in Waterloo. They then took him to University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.
The accident is still under investigation.
