CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Iowans paid a half cent more, on average, for a gallon of regular gas over the past week, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 2,036 stations in Iowa. However, the national average remained unchanged.
The average statewide was $2.75 per gallon, more than a dime less than the national average of $2.86.
Iowa average prices remain unchanged from a month ago, but are 46.9 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average has dropped 0.7 cents during the last month, and is 52.1 cents higher than a year ago.
In Cedar Rapids, the average price is $2.55, down 21.4 cents from a month ago, but up 31.7 cents from a year ago.
Waterloo's average is $3.05 per gallon, up 38.8 cents from last month, and 75.8 cents from a year ago.
In Iowa City, the average price is $2.63 per gallon, down 17.8 cents from one month ago, but up 36.7 cents from one year ago.
Dubuque's average is $2.70 per gallon, down 10.3 cents from last month, and up 46.1 cents from last year.
