CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- The Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance has announced Maddie Poppe, the first Iowan American Idol winner will not be performing at Market After Dark on August 25.
Due to scheduling changes, the alliance says Poppe will not be able to perform.
The Alliance says Maddie's management team is unable to control the changes and they deeply regret the inconvenience for everyone who planned to attend the event.
Due to Poppe not performing Alisabeth Von Presley will begin her performance at 6:30 p.m. and end at 8:30 p.m.
The Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance says they anticipate Market After Dark to be one of the highest attended community events in downtown Cedar Rapids.
