Hiawatha Man Charged with October Robbery

MARION, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Marion Police arrested a Hiawatha man Wednesday in connection to an October robbery at a Verizon Wireless store.

30-year-old Joshua Hamilton faces a second degree robbery charge after police said they used a DNA match to link him to the robbery.

Workers reported a robbery on October 16, 2017, at the Verizon store at 2240 Seventh Avenue. Security footage showed two men wearing masks, glasses, and gloves entering the store. Workers said the men demanded cellphones.

Police said the men did not use a weapon during the robbery, and no one was injured.
