LINN COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- UPDATE: The Linn County Sherrif's Office says a 70-year-old man from Lisbon died in a crash on U.S. 30 Thursday afternoon. Authorities say John Stevan Kerr was killed when another driver crossed the centerline, hitting his Pontiac Grand Prix and a Ford F-150.

Authorities closed U.S. 30 in both directions between U.S. 151 and Highway 1 following a deadly crash involving three vehicles.
The Linn County Sheriff's Office said it happened about 4:40 p.m. Thursday on U.S. 30 just west of 10th Avenue in Mount Vernon.
Investigators said 49-year-old Curtis Rawson of Mount Vernon was driving east on U.S. 30 when his pickup crossed the center line, striking a car and a pickup.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the driver's name.
Emergency crews flew Rawson to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for what deputies said are non-life threatening injuries.
The driver and a passenger in the second pickup were not injured.
