LINN COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- A driver who pulled out into oncoming traffic went to the hospital after colliding with another vehicle, according to the Linn County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said it happened about 1:45 p.m. Wednesday on Williams Boulevard SW and U.S. 30.
They said 39-year-old Leah Bolton of Cedar Rapids turned left from the westbound U.S. 30 off ramp into the path of a northbound vehicle on Williams Boulevard.
Emergency crews took Bolton to University of Iowa hospital in Iowa City with what deputies believed to be non-life threatening injuries. Deputies said the other driver refused treatment or transport from the scene.
Deputies said charges are pending.
