WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- The Iowa women’s tennis team fell to Purdue, 6-1, in West Lafayette on Sunday at the Schwartz Tennis Center.
The Hawkeyes grabbed the doubles point with wins on courts one and two. Senior Zoe Douglas and junior Adorabol Huckleby topped Zala Dovnik and Ena Babic at the No. 2 position, 6-3.
No. 47 sophomore Elise van Heuvelen and senior Anastasia Reimchen defeated Silvia Ambrosio and Caitlin Calkins at the No. 1 position, 6-4, to clinch the doubles point.
Purdue swept the singles matches.

The Hawkeyes travel to College Park, Maryland and Piscataway, New Jersey to play Maryland on Saturday at 12 p.m. (CT) and Rutgers on Sunday at 11 a.m. respectively.
