WATERLOO, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- A Waterloo man will spend ten years in prison for having a gun illegally that he used to shoot a teenager.
A judge gave Eric Sallis that sentence Wednesday after he pleaded guilty to having the gun and ammunition as a felon.
Police say in November 2016 Sallis confronted a 17-year-old boy and shot him three times.
Sallis must also serve probation for three years after his release.
