Trump warns Russia about countering US Syria strike. How dangerous is this?

The President used Twitter to warn Russia about shooting down US missiles if they come to respond to Syria Chemical Weapons attack.

“Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria,” President Trump wrote. “Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and ‘smart!’ You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!”

"If there is a strike by the Americans, then...the missiles will be downed and even the sources from which the missiles were fired," Russia's Ambassador to Lebanon, Alexander Zasypkin told Hezbollah's al-Manar television station.

But President Trump wasn't done. He then started talking about the economy and the arms race.
