(Des Moines, IA) -- Back-to-school shoppers in Iowa can save some money this week.
Iowa's Sales Tax Holiday is this Friday and Saturday, August 7th and 8th. That means clothes or shoes priced under $100 can be purchased without the added 6% state sales tax .
It also applies to those items purchased on those days by mail, catalog or online, even if they are delivered after the holiday is over.
However, you'll pay full price for school supplies.
