Iowa State Capitol Grounds to Host America's Harvest Festival in October

(Iowa) -- Iowa will host a unique event this fall to celebrate America's 250th anniversary.

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds announced the event Wednesday, saying, "on October 24th, 2026, the Iowa Capitol grounds will host America's Harvest Festival, showcasing how Iowa agriculture has helped shape our nation."

Reynolds said the event will include vendors featuring hand-crafted products made in Iowa, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and a wide variety food. The event is scheduled from 1pm until dusk on Saturday, October 24th at the Iowa Capitol grounds.
