One Person Under Arrest After Shooting in Cedar Rapids Sunday

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- One person is under arrest after a shooting in Cedar Rapids Sunday left two people hurt.

The Cedar Rapids Police department says officers responded to reports of a shooting a little before 9pm Sunday to the 4200 block of SW 21st Avenue SW. When officers arrived, they found a 32 year-old female suffering from gunshot wounds. She was taken to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Investigators later found a second victim, a 35 year-old male who had also been hit by gunfire.

The investigation led to the arrest of 35 year-old Joe Exon-Grigler of Cedar Rapids. He's facing multiple charges.
