Astronaut With Iowa State Ties To Lead Nebraska's SAC Museum

(Ashland, NE) -- A retired astronaut and current Iowa State University Professor is taking on another new role, at Nebraska's Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum. Clayton Anderson earned his Master's Degree in aerospace engineering from Iowa State. He returned to the I-S-U faculty after retiring from NASA in 2013. During his time at NASA, Anderson took part in four space missions. The Nebraska native is the new President and C-E-O of the SAC Museum in Ashland, west of Omaha on I-80.
