Iowa Man Mistakenly Identified By NY Times As COVID-19 Victim

A Cedar Rapids man who is named in a New York Times front page story about people who have died from COVID-19 coronavirus, didn't die from coronavirus.

The newspaper listed the names of a thousand COVID-19 victims across the country, but an autopsy rules Jordan Haynes' death was a homicide.

His body was found near Interstate 380 back in March and police are still investigating. The New York Times has removed Haynes' name from the online front page cover.
