Disneyland Ticket Prices Increased To Over $200 Apiece For The First Time

Mickey And Minnie Mouse Welcome Everyone To Hong Kong Disneyland Resort

Well, this is a major bummer.

On Tuesday, Disneyland's ticket prices rose to the highest they've ever been. The cost of a one-day, park-hopper ticker is now listed as $199-$209 on high-demand days throughout the year. The cost of tickets on low-demand days rose, as well, from $154 to $159. For those not as well versed in Disneyland ling, park-hopper tickets allow guests to visit both Disneyland and California Adventure.

Not only did single day tickets receive price increases from the House of Mouse, the cost of annual passes and the digital MaxPass rose, too. The annual passes allow guests to visit the parks repeatedly throughout the year for one set price, while the digital MaxPass is Disneyland's fast pass system, which allows guests to cut the lines on popular rides.

The difference between high-demand and low-demand days allows park-goers to pay less for certain days in certain months. For examples, Tuesdays and Wednesdays typically tend to be low-demand days because the parks are much less crowded on those days. Summer, weekends and the holiday season, however, are high-demand days. Guests could end up paying $209 for those high-demand dates now.
