HARTFORD, Iowa - Several suspicious propane tanks rigged with batteries attached by electrical tape were investigated by the bomb squad after an emergency call Sunday in Hartford, Iowa, Southeast of Des Moines.

Warren County Sheriff's Deputies were called to the Git n Go gas station about 7:30 Sunday morning, on report of a possibly suicidal man in a white pickup truck with possible explosives.

The gas station was evacuated for hours while the bomb squad investigated, with support from the Iowa State Patrol, and the Hartford Fire Department.

The Sheriff's Department says the man is being questioned, and there is no threat to the public.
