Janelle Foley was presented with a "priceless" check Thursday, that includes two tickets to the Super Bowl, as well as covering the cost of meals, airfare, and hotel.
The 2019 P&G/Frito-Lay Super Bowl LIII Sweepstakes chose a random winner from Hy-Vee customers that purchased Frito Lay products and used their Hy-Vee Fuel Saver + Perks rewards card.
Foley said she was surprised to find out that she had won, and then shifted her focus to figure out who she was going to bring.
Foley said the decision was pretty easy, but choosing who to root for is not as easy of a decision for her, despite her son being a fan of the New England Patriots.
"I gave my husband the first option," Foley said. "And if he would have said no, I would have taken my Patriots fan."
If you think her son being a fan of the Patriots was enough to make her a fan for at least one game, it was seemingly hard for her to admit.
But when pressed, the truth came out.
"I'm just going to go for the fun," Foley said. "It doesn't matter... probably the Patriots a little bit, but it doesn't matter, really."
Foley said no matter what she will enjoy the experience with her husband, and most definitely the halftime show.
