DES MOINES, Iowa - We're in store for another wintry blast Tuesday.  It'll start in the Northwest, and move across Iowa, bringing snow, sleet, and freezing rain as it goes, until the storm system reaches the Quad Cities late Tuesday morning and through the afternoon.

The National Weather Service in Des Moines expects some icing to come ahead of the snowfall, which is expected to make for difficult driving conditions across Iowa, in morning drive Tuesday in Des Moines, and afternoon drive Tuesday in Davenport and the Quad Cities.   The National Weather Service ice and snow prediction maps are posted above and below.
