Quiet weather continues until Friday night, when our next weather system brings a chance of snow and colder temperatures.
Friday night, snow will slide in from the north and may mix with light rain at first. This snow ends Saturday morning. There may be a sharp cutoff in snowfall amounts, and the general idea is that northern Iowa will get more than southern Iowa. Two to four inches is possible in far northern Iowa, with one to two inches closer to Highway 20. South of there, amounts are looking like less than an inch. This may shift, however. The wind picks up Saturday with colder highs all weekend only around 30.
Thanksgiving Week looks uneventful from a weather standpoint.
