DES MOINES, Iowa - A Wind Advisory is posted for much of Iowa into Saturday afternoon. The strong wind could make driving difficult on the northern stretch of I-35 and the eastern stretch of I-80 in Iowa, especially for high-profile trucks.
A Wind Advisory is posted across Crntral amd East Central Iowa today.
In East Central , Central, and North Central Iowa including the I-35 and I-80 corridors, winds will be 25-35 mph with strong gusts of 40-45 mph from mid-morning into the afternoon. The Wind Advisory is effective until 4:00 p.m.
Aside from the wind, it looks like sunshine is ahead for the weekend, both Saturday and Sunday.
