One tornado was spotted near Blairstown in Benton County. Emergency management officials said no damage was reported.
A second tornado was reported near Chelsea but no damage was reported.
Minor damage was reported in rural Cedar Falls as the storms moved through. Officials said several structures were damaged at the farm but no injuries were reported. It isn't clear if the damage was caused by a tornado or straight-line winds.
While officials were on the lookout for severe weather, they're also concerned about heavy rain that could lead to flooding in areas already waterlogged from rain over recent weeks.
