Very warm and somewhat humid weather remains to start off the new workweek. We'll begin Monday with lows in the lower 60s, followed by highs in the upper 80s to around 90. Heat indices will climb into the 90 to 95 degree range for a time in the afternoon.
Highs in the 80s last Tuesday through Thursday, although there will be storm chances during that time, too. At this time, it looks like northern Iowa may be favored compared to other places up until later Thursday into Thursday night. That's when a cold front will sweep through, bringing a higher chance of rain and thunderstorms. That front will also bring in cooler and less humid weather with highs close to 70 going into the weekend.
