CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- A Linn County Judge sentenced Quarzone Martin to no more than 50 years in prison Tuesday.
Last December, a jury found Martin guilty of 2nd Degree Murder, Willful Injury Causing Serious Injury, and Going Armed with Intent. He will serve for all charges concurrently.
On July 2nd, Cedar Rapids police officers found two shooting victims inside a vehicle that crashed into a guardrail in the Walmart parking lot on the southwest side.
26-year-old Andrew Meeks died from his injuries. A 30-year-old man survived.
