Survivor Of E-Cigarette Explosion Warns Of Dangers

The survivor of an e-cigarette explosion tells her story for the first time.  Twenty-one-year-old Melissa Madsen says she had left her vape pen on her lap back in April and wasn't even using it when it burst into flames.  Madsen jumped out of her moving truck to escape the fire.

She suffered two broken hips, second degree burns on her legs and road rash on her arms and back.
