CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- A lawsuit is challenging the proposed United Technologies Rockwell Collins deal.
The $30 billion deal would link Rockwell Collins with Connecticut-based United Technologies.
Ted Sharpenter is a shareholder and says the acquisition violates the Securities Exchange Act.
That law regulates the governing of secondary trading of things like stocks and bonds in the US.
The deal would pay current Rockwell Collins shareholders $140 a share.
