IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- The University of Iowa has selected a new vice president of Medical Affairs and Dean of the medical school.
If the state regents approve, Dr. J. Brooks Jackson will lead the university's health care system.
Jackson served as vice president for health sciences and dean of the medical school at the University of Minnesota. His salary will be $825,000 a year.
Jackson replaces Jean Robilliard. He announced his retirement last year, saying he would step down when the university named a replacement.
