Marion PD Searching for Verizon Robbers

MARION, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Marion Police are searching for two men they said robbed a cell phone company store Monday morning.

Police said around 10:20 a.m. the two men entered the Verizon Wireless store at 2240 7th Avenue and demanded cell phones from the employee. The men then left on foot toward the 2200 block of 8th Avenue.

Officers said the men did not display weapons and no one was hurt.

One man was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt with a white shirt underneath, dark pants, and tennis shoes. The other male was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans, and brown work boots. Both suspects were wearing white dust masks and glasses.
