Adam Kredo at The Washington Free Beacon is reporting that a number of leftover Obama officials launched a campaign to get rid of General Michael Flynn as National Security Adviser.

According to Kredo, these Democrat loyalists went so far as to plant damaging stories about the General in the media.

His resignation on Monday night was the culmination of a months long effort to handicap the President's National Security structure and was apparently in part lead by Ben Rhodes - the man Obama used to create an 'echo-chamber' of support for the Iran deal.
