(Manchester, IA) -- An Iowa family has mixed emotions about a 4.25-million dollar settlement awarded by a Delaware County jury yesterday in a civil suit involving the death of their son during a 2020 police chase.

Sandra Mormann, mother of Gus Mormann tells Iowa's News Now they have justice, but not their son.

A jury found a Manchester Police lieutenant was responsible Mormann's death when he forced the man's motorcycle off the road with his cruiser during the December 2020 chase.

Mormann died of his injuries weeks later.
