The north expo hall at Hawkeye Downs in Cedar Rapids is closed due to damage from last month's derecho.
The closure forces the cancellation of this week's gun expo. Other than that, the grounds have been deemed safe to operate.
The final race of the season is still scheduled for September 26th and leaders say they are looking forward to their winter dog park and holiday events.
