Ensuring the health and safety of Linn County Conservation visitors and employees continues to be a top priority. The following measures are taking place to help prevent the potential spread of COVID-19.
·Wickiup Hill Learning Center is closed to the public until further notice. All upcoming events in March, including Cat Week programs for the week, have been cancelled. ·Linn County Conservation’s open house regarding the Pinicon Ridge Park dam scheduled for March 24 at the Falcon Civic Center in Central City has been postponed. A date will be set in the future to hold this event.
·Cedar Amateur Astronomers public program March 21at the Eastern Iowa Observatory and Learning Center at Palisades-Dows Preserve at has been cancelled.
