A single-vehicle accident in rural Linn County caused minor injuries to three people, including one infant, on Monday afternoon.
The Linn County Sheriff's Office said that Chaya Bekerman, 20, of Postville, was driving the vehicle that was headed westbound on Coggon Road near Price Lane. Responding officers found the car in a ditch on the opposite side of the road from the lane it was traveling in.
One infant and both adult occupants of the vehicle were taken to St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Officials said everyone in the car was wearing proper restraints, and that airbags had deployed.
Bekerman was cited with failure to maintain control.
